National Wreaths Across America Day at Noon, Saturday, December 19, 2020.

Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, Wreaths Across America’s mission to Remember, Honor and Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 1,600 additional approved locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad.

Babylon Vault has been an approved group with Wreaths Across America since 2018. In our first year, 851 Veteran’s wreaths were placed in 7 cemeteries. In 2019, the number increased to 1,500 wreaths at 15 cemeteries. Family members are encouraged to place wreaths on their loved one graves during a special portion of the ceremony.

Bringing the community together on National Wreaths Across America Day is a wonderful show of thanks to our hometown Veterans. This is a great opportunity to involve youth as we teach our next generation the respect and honor our Veterans deserve as REMEMBER – HONOR – TEACH.

By sponsoring online or mailing the form for these locations, it ensures the wreath sponsorships stay within our County.

How can you help? We are looking for volunteers to place and/or sponsor a wreath. individuals, These volunteers can include school children and educators, sports teams, professional truck drivers, first responders, veterans, Gold Star and Blue Star families, corporations and other non-profits and the community at large.

We are also looking for volunteers to assist with transporting the wreaths to the approved cemeteries, location coordinators to lead a ceremony, musicians who can play Taps, Color Guard, singers for the National Anthem and anyone well versed in special military formalities like flag folding or even a gun salute.
